Fellowship Programs

DNB (Medical Gastroenterology)
After completing three years of residency, specialized doctors in India are conferred the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi. DNB-certified doctors are now more widely recognized internationally, increasing their demand.

The VGM Hospital DNB Centre offers a three-year program focused on Medical Gastroenterology with hands-on training in endoscopy. Our experienced instructors ensure practical learning and professional growth.

Candidates receive their degrees from NBE after completing their postgraduate residency. The DNB exam is also open to candidates with an MD/MS in Gastroenterology.

Additional Programs:

  • FMAS (2 Years) – Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery
  • FAGIE (1 Year) – Fellowship in Advanced GI Endoscopy (Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University)
